Our prototype power node, Protostar launched aboard SpaceX’s Transporter-18 on October 1, 2026. Upon completion, this will be the world’s first optical power beamed between two free-flying spacecraft.

Record-Breaking Optical Power Transmission

We transmitted more than 1.1 kW of electrical power to commercial off-the-shelf solar panels, surpassing the previous record set by DARPA and proving the technology’s readiness for space operations.
